Requirements

Supporting and improving the IT infrastructure/systems of Keywords Studios for the Americas Region, and developing/implementing solutions to address KWS studio project IT needs across the region.

Responsible for the IT Systems Infrastructure including managing, improving, and safeguarding the Organization’s IT infrastructure while supporting InfoSec compliance requirements. Additionally, mentor, advise and assist other System Administrator(s) and Support staff with incidents, scheduled maintenance, projects, future planning, etc.

In conjunction with other IT team members, responsible for supporting, designing and modifying the Organization’s IT infrastructure including, but not limited to, Windows/Linux servers (on-prem and in the cloud), storage and application environments, defining and improving processes/procedures, planning, peer-reviewing and doing planned maintenances, enforcing security requirements, etc. Be a senior IT resource for other members in the IT team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the high availability, and the required performance levels, of mission critical systems and tools
  • Lead / manage high priority projects to architect, test, and implement solutions as required by business or IT management
  • Ensure documentation of infrastructure, services and procedures, also to keep it up to date for reference by other team members
  • Be a Mentor, a technical lead, and offer support, to System Administrator(s) and other IT team members
  • Safeguard data integrity as part of overall Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans
  • In conjunction with the InfoSec department and others, ensure network and systems security
  • Research, evaluate, suggest, and implement new technologies that will benefit and bring value to the Organization.

Other Duties

  • Whenever required, provide backup coverage of System Administrator duties and responsibilities
  • Work on assigned projects as a team member or project lead
  • Be available to perform after hour / weekend activities (scheduled OR emergency)
  • Provide clear and concise communications to clients/customers (internal and external) regarding issues, planned maintenances, and outages
  • Exercise advanced troubleshooting of issues and outages

Essential ONLY

  • 10+ years’ experience administering an advanced multi-site Microsoft Enterprise environment, including Linux servers
  • Microsoft Certified Solution Expert (MCSE) Core Infrastructure
  • Additional MCITP/MCTS certification considered valuable
  • Strong knowledge of virtualization/Hyper-converged infrastructure
  • Solid understanding of storage technologies
  • Advanced Software, Hardware, Active Directory and Networking troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent customer service experience and skills (friendly and patient)
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Flexible mindset and willing to adjust and change on the fly
  • Patient, personable, high energy, dependable, positive “can do” attitude
  • Ability to handle pressure situations
  • Desire to take ownership of problems – self-starter and proactive
  • Strong desire to ensure the success of the entire IT team
  • Strong technical writing skills.
