Job Description:

Verify the linguistic accuracy and quality of in-game English text while playing video games.
Identify and report linguistic bugs (such as grammatical errors or unnatural expressions) using our bug tracking system.
Execute re-tests on fixes to ensure issues are properly resolved.
Provide feedback to improve game quality and user experience.

Condition:

Employment Type: Monthly, project-based contract
Hourly Wage: Starting from ¥1,300
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM (includes a 1-hour lunch break) *Some projects may offer flexible working hours

Native-level fluency in English (written and verbal).
Deep understanding of local cultural and linguistic nuances (e.g., slang, tone, context) for English-speaking markets.
Must currently reside in the Tokyo area and be able to work on-site at the office.
Must be legally eligible to work in Japan. (Tourist visas will not be considered, and we will not sponsor any types of visas.)
Basic working proficiency with standard PC software.
Comfortable and effective working in a multicultural team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to communicate in English or Japanese
Prior professional experience in LQA or game testing.
Familiarity with industry-standard bug tracking tools.
Professional experience within the gaming industry.
