We are looking for a creative and proactive Community Manager to grow and nurture the Japanese community for the popular mobile game, Clash of Clans. This is an exciting opportunity for a Community Manager with experience in gaming, as the successful applicant will work closely with the Supercell team to provide best-in-class community management to their players.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle day-to-day social media management including strategy and creating content across a range of social media platforms such as Twitter, Youtube, Facebook, Tiktok and Instagram
  • Localize international content from English into Japanese, and create brand new community initiatives specifically for Japanese players
  • Build and maintain relationships with content creators and influencers
  • Collaborate with both Keywords Studios and Supercell teams to grow the community in Japan
  • Coordinate, support and attend off-line events with players in Japan
  • Identify any issues or concerns that are being discussed within the community and be able to advise on how to address them
  • Communicate directly with the community, and share feedback and suggestions to the global community management team

Requirements:

  • Native level of Japanese (JLPT N1 or equivalent) and excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Business level of English (TOEIC 750 or above)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and basic knowledge of Photoshop
  • Strong understanding and experience in Japanese social media channels
  • Ability to understand users’ needs and requests, and respond flexibly to them
  • Customer Support skills with a hospitality mindset such as responding to claims, risk management
  • Passionate about video games and social media
