Job Summary: We are looking for a high caliber individual to manage RMA Planning, Testing and Refurbishment, Material Procurement, and Reverse Logistics operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily testing and refurbishment of RMA units, to ensure production meets build plan requirements. This includes all aspects of RMA planning - unpacking, testing, and repacking of RMA units in the RMA center.
  • Work with Planning and Customer Ordering & Services team to prioritize builds based on customer demand.
  • Review and plan the supply and inventory of raw materials and accessory items to support the RMA repack.
  • Manage all CTO (Configure to order) activity.
  • Manage ad hoc conversion/rework requests.
  • Manage ODMs to repair or replace defective materials with minimal turnaround times.
  • Focus on continual quality process improvements representing the Quality team locally as needed.
  • Work with the Quality Team, Engineering Team, and ODMs to define the rules and test environments to test return products for failure analysis to minimize defects.
  • Prepare meaningful and accurate RMA reports and KPI’s for management review.
  • Release POs in Oracle for service charges and RMA unit buybacks from ODMs.
  • Audit monthly invoicing.
  • Minimize used product inventory especially during quarter-end.
  • Local point of contact for all RMA, Refurbishment, CTO, and conversion enquiries.
  • Manage E&O and scrap activity.
  • Manage one direct report - APAC Service Logistics Specialist - and have responsibility for the 5 regional Tech Support (Sub-DC’s) in the APAC region based in Australia, China, Japan, Korea, and India.
  • Drive operational, system, and productivity improvements on a continuous basis.
  • Ensure SOX compliance throughout the supply chain.

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies:

  • Needs to be a fast learner and hit the ground running.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Must be able to fluently communicate (spoken and written) in Mandarin and English.
  • Good problem recognition, analytical, negotiation, and resolution skills.
  • Creative, Systematic, hard-working, detailed minded & positive attitude.
  • Good sense of material flow, inventory planning, and manufacturing operations.
  • Must be results-oriented and flexible on work hours to get the job done.
  • Must be able to work effectively in a high volume, fast-paced, and multi-tasked environment with all levels of management, both internal and external.
  • Must be able to work independently and be able to work under pressure.
  • Occasional overseas travel is required.

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a managerial capacity and working experience in demand planning, material planning, RMA processing and reverse logistics operations.
  • Experience in quality management and quality improvement tools and techniques e.g. TQM, 6 sigmas, etc.
  • Experience in managing third-party logistics providers.
  • Working experience in an electronics manufacturing or trading company, preferably an MNC.
  • Experience and familiarity with Oracle Systems.
  • Knowledge of MS Office especially Excel. Knowledge of Macro is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
