K Bros inc is a boutique video game publisher focused on indie, casual and viral titles across Console, PC and mobile platforms. We are looking for a Senior Producer to help forge the future of K Bros games.

As a Senior Producer, you will work closely with designers, artists, programmers, dev relations and influencers to organize and drive the game development and publishing process. A Senior Producer’s number one priority within the development/publishing structure is to make sure the overall business goals are met. Whether it be getting a long overdue project back on track or setting up efficient milestones for a brand new one, your number one goal would be to get things done on your own steam. This means a no-nonsense approach to problem solving with daily communication and working to support all the members of the team in task management and scheduling challenges.

This position is full time and will be based either out of K Bros Inc offices in San Francisco, California or Remotely.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the project’s scope through all phases of the production cycle: concept to ship
  • Drive the team in every aspect of development and publishing, from scheduling and management of multiple teams and features, to dealing with outside contractors, publishers and licensors.
  • Direct the production team, QA, and the development team for releases during production, delivery to test shards, final launch to players, and ongoing maintenance in a live game environment.
  • Set up analytics tools and track data in order to improve and build upon existing monetization models
  • Working in the trenches with Artists, Designers and Programmers tracking tasks and making sure the developers stay on schedule.
  • Evaluate milestone deliveries
  • Iterate on and provide feedback to improve the quality of products
  • Creatively solve problems that arise during development
  • Demo and/or evangelize products as necessary
  • Ensure the quality of the game by min/maxing risks and foreseeing potential production pitfalls
  • Identify road blockers between teams and raise red flags
  • Daily communication with all team members
  • Resolve any team issues
  • Assign and prioritize tasks in production software
  • Conduct efficient meetings, documents and create and schedules

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of industry experience in a production role
  • Track record of producing console, PC and mobile games
  • Driven to make things happen and figure out any problem
  • Extremely organized and loves to juggle tasks
  • Shipped 3 or more game titles
  • Familiar with all aspects of game development from art, animation, design and engineering
  • Knowledge in Agile, SCRUM, Kanban, or waterfall production methods

Things we’d love to see:

  • Experience working in various established production methodologies.
  • Product management, build management, and performance analytics experience.
  • Game development and support experience.
  • Console development experience.
  • Proficient knowledge or practical experience in one of the other gaming disciplines: 3D Art, Game Design, or Programming.
