Are you a 3rd or 4th-year student with a passion for developing people and supporting them in reaching their full potential?

We are searching for an aspiring Talent Developer to join our Talent Development team as part of a co-op program that begins in January and extends over a four (4) month term. Throughout this time, you will have the opportunity to help us roll out the foundations of a learning culture and integrate programming with Kabam’s broader people strategy and functions.

As a Co-op, you will support the team responsible for the coordination, design and delivery of programs for Company Wide Talent Solutions - During your term, we will be focusing on Leadership Development, Coaching, Performance Management and Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) initiatives. You will work collaboratively to build a foundation for a successful career in Talent Development, by expanding your knowledge and experience with principles in instructional design, adult learning and Learning Management System operations.

The Talent Development Co-op will contribute to many areas of work, including:

  • Program Planning: support in planning of soft skills, leadership development and DE&I programs
  • Research: conduct research on tools, frameworks and best practices to leverage in our programs
  • Resources and Materials: create and update intranet information, program materials and resources
  • Program Coordination & Logistics: send communications, schedule training sessions and meetings, track training completion
  • Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I): support our DE&I Officer in implementing initiatives and educational events
  • Work closely with the People Team on ad-hoc projects and/or requirements that may arise.

We are searching for an individual who:

  • Is in 3rd or 4th year in a post-secondary Business program, preferably with a major in Human Resource Management or equivalent.
  • Is highly motivated with the drive to take on new challenges and problem-solving.
  • Is deadline-oriented, with strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.
  • Has excellent communication skills, both verbally and written.
