We’re looking for a Senior Web Content Strategist to oversee the content strategy and content optimization of our fast-growing portfolio of web products. The ideal candidate has exceptional writing and editorial skills, UX and Information Architecture (IA) skills, experience creating content strategy for websites, SEO and content optimization skills, experience developing evergreen pillar content, and experience working in a fast-paced environment.

The Senior Web Content Strategist will work closely with our Senior Manager of Global Digital Strategy, Senior Web Designer, and Senior Developer to deliver on-brand, optimized website experiences that meet player needs and showcase our games. You will help to train and establish a high-performing, cross-functional editorial team who create content that places our web products as the authoritative source-of-information for our games.

You don’t have to be a mobile gaming expert, but experience with our games or the brands we work with would be a definite plus.

You will contribute by:

  • Ensure all web content meets best practices in copy and aligns with internal strategy, including brand guidelines, tone-of-voice, user needs, and SEO strategy
  • Understand key business drivers for our content, contribute to campaign strategy by recommending web content strategy for our target audiences
  • Work with the wider team to identify and set goals for web content performance
  • Report out on web content results across all website on a regular basis, providing idea and solutions to boost popular content and improve under-performing content
  • Partner with other teams to optimize web content user journey for conversion and retention, including with our growth and UA teams to help optimize ad journeys
  • Conduct web content audits and provide content governance oversight, including working with the wider team to identify improvement opportunities
  • Help guide the implementation and use of web content tools, including tracking, testing, and optimization tools
  • Use data to evaluate the effectiveness of Kabam’s web content in order to drive best-in-class web content strategy and improve decision making
  • Contribute to maintaining a master content calendar and work side-by-side with project managers to set deadlines, manage production and ensure delivery of scheduled content

Your background includes:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • 7+ years relevant experience (as a content strategist/lead, digital strategist, web product manager, or other related role)
  • Considerable experience with Google tools, including Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Ads
  • Considerable experience with SEO and content optimization tools, including keyword research tools and A/B testing tools
  • Strong background in understanding audiences, defining user needs, and what retains and converts audiences
  • Strong understanding of scaling website content, website UX, and information architecture
  • Extensive project management experience
  • Experience in digital marketing in fast-paced digital environments
