Senior Machine Learning Engineer (Central-Tech)

As a member of our Central-Tech team, you will contribute to our world-class games by collaborating with data scientists and engineers to extend and maintain our machine learning infrastructure that trains, serves, and monitors our models.

In this role, you can expect to:

  • Work alongside talented and driven engineers, data scientists and game developers
  • Develop state of the art technologies in a challenging environment at scale
  • Extend, optimize and maintain our machine learning platform that provides millions of predictions per day in real time
  • Write robust, scalable, quality code
  • Work with open source and cloud-based tools

In order to be successful for this role, we are looking for:

  • BS/MSc in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Deep understanding of data structures and algorithms
  • 3 + years working with Python
  • 1-2 years experience developing machine learning systems
  • Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Kustomize)
  • Experience using cloud platforms (GCP/AWS/Azure)
  • Solid grasp of CI/CD pipelines
  • Able to effectively translate between prototypes and production systems
  • Strong communication skills
  • A self-driven / motivated engineer that can operate independently

It will be nice if you also have:

  • Experience with airflow or similar orchestration tools
  • A command of lower level languages such as C, C ++
  • Knowledge of machine learning algorithms
  • Experience optimising machine learning code for speed and memory
  • Experience with PyTorch, or Tensorflow, or other neural network frameworks
  • Solid SQL skills and a good understanding of databases
  • An active Github profile
  • Evidence of continued learning
