We’re looking for a technically-minded Development Director to assist with technical prioritization, documentation, and planning. This role will work with internal development teams to ensure they are focused, well-organized and well-resourced to deliver great work.
Required Qualifications
- Work with the Executive Producer and key external and internal stakeholders to drive planning and execution of a live game
- Requirements gathering, prioritization and triage, dependency tracking, change management, budget work
- Successful examples facilitating design ideation process, requirements gathering, and creation of specifications
- Experience defining projects, collecting requirements, writing detailed functional and test specifications, coordinating efforts to scope, schedule and deploy new features sets
- Knowledge of game software development process and lifecycle
- High initiative and a nose for bringing clarity to ambiguity of early development
Preferred Qualifications
- 7+ years of project management experience in the entertainment and/or software development industry
- 3+ years in a leadership role with strong people management skills
- Experience with a variety of project management methodologies, including experience as a Scrum Master
- Experience in a TPM role in software or game development
Nice To Have Qualifications
- Experience leading or assisting in process improvement initiatives
- Ensuring the team is trained on necessary skills, processes, and best practices
- Deep understanding of games as a service business model
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or certification in project management, with a focus on Agile methodologies
