A great IT leader can make a huge difference in how a business runs. As the IT Manager at Kabam, you will be responsible for the performance and direction of a multi-talented team, You are the IT strategist for Kabam and the leader of our high-performing IT team. As Head of IT, you will be responsible for defining and implementing IT strategy and policies in line with the company’s overall strategy, which ties into our business goals.
As the IT Manager, you will:
- Oversee IT operations
- Lead team of IT staff (System Administration, Infrastructure, Helpdesk, Security)
- Design and implement IT strategies and infrastructure
- Ensure the security, availability, and integrity of all internal applications, networks, and assets used by all employees and contractors in the organization
- Create an efficient internal communication plan addressing security awareness.
- Prepare progress and budget forecasts and reports for upper management
- Identify and eliminate security risks
- Analyze business requirements for IT needs and systems
- Work to increase user satisfaction
- Evaluate IT operations with regard to established goals
- Communicate within the IT team and across departments as needed
- Assess the need for new equipment and software
- Hire new members of IT staff
- Build and maintain relationships with outside vendors
- Manage company help desk
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Contribute to the health and positive culture of the team
- Oversee significant projects and collaborates across disciplines to ensure success

To be successful in this role, your background includes:
- Experience in managing and mentoring technical teams.
- Demonstrated experience in collaborating with the senior management to set departmental goals and priorities.
- A high-performer and a forward thinker who consistently brings impact to organizations
- Sound understanding of computer systems, networks, security, telecommunications, databases and storage systems, and cloud operations
- Proven Operations and KPI analytics experience
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to manage and prioritize tasks and projects
- Solid working knowledge of all relevant coding languages and security protocols
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Team oriented
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
- 8+ years of hands-on experience working in IT operations
- 5+ years experience overseeing IT teams and projects
- 8+ years of IT experience in the Gaming, entertainment, or software development sector
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer science, Information Technology, or related field
- Understanding of contemporary AV hardware, technical systems, and subject matter expertise in Google Workspace, Workspace One, JAMF, OKTA, ServiceNow
- Continuous education in IT-related subjects is always preferred
