Junkfish is looking for a producer to join our Scottish BAFTA nominated development company in the UK. You will have the opportunity to join our expanding team to work on the multiplayer sequel to our cult-classic horror game, Monstrum 2. As the producer, you will help with the day-to-day management of our latest games, as well as assist the senior producer in planning and task management. It’s essential you are well-organized and approachable as you will be a key player in helping the team deliver to schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the senior producer with the day-to-day running of our active projects
  • Collaborate with the senior producer on planning and laying out key milestones
  • Work with the team to make sure scrum board and project tracking is kept up to date
  • Track and report on project milestones and provide status report to Senior Producer
  • Effectively manage project scope by ensuring any changes to scope are documented and approved with project change request forms
  • Create changelogs and make sure documentation is kept up to date
  • Ensure all projects documents are safely archived following project completion
  • Help with testing and getting feedback to the development team
  • Help identify risks and make sure they’re properly reported
  • Be involved in the creation, operation and improvement of production systems
  • Encourage and support the development team
  • Resolve any issues and solve problems throughout project life cycle

Skills & Requirements

  • Must have 2 years relevant experience working in a relevant field within the games industry
  • Knowledge of agile production methodologies including scrum and kanban
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Working knowledge of Trello, Jira and Google Docs
  • Experience working with 3rd parties for localization or quality assurance for example
  • Knowledge of the game development pipeline
  • Must have a good attitude and be a team player
  • Has shipped at least 1 title.

Desirable

  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field
  • One released title worked on from start to finish
  • Worked on a live ops game either on mobile, PC or console

Additional Information

  • Salary: £27k - £40k
  • Location: Dundee, UK (Remote options available)
