Jam City is looking for a full time Game Capture Artist to help create compelling marketing video advertisements for our mobile game titles across major social and ad publishing networks. You will be responsible for creating compelling game capture using proprietary in-game engines and debugs, as well as contributing to the staging of narrative scenes in 3D environments using in-game assets. You have a good knack for layout design and composition and have a cinematographer’s eye for game capture. You find efficient ways to improve the creative & technical processes and speak up when you see areas of opportunity that will help benefit yourself and the wider team.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Play and love mobile games!
  • Create video capture and screenshots from in-game engines and debug builds.
  • Image editing/touch ups in Photoshop
  • Collaborate with a wide range of Jam Citizens including the game development team, marketing teams, including editors, producers, MGFX artists, Creative Directors, social media community managers.
  • Develop a pipeline for creating custom scenes in Unity and Unreal game engines and rendering them for use in static and video assets.
  • Organize, archive, and share assets across creative marketing teams and partners.
  • Attend marketing meetings and game team meetings to stay up to date on new game features as well as UA needs, bridging the gap between game and creative teams.
  • Advise on new debug build features that will result in improved game capture.
  • Find solutions to game development technical issues.

WHO YOU ARE:

  • 3-5 years of game industry experience specifically within game capture and creative marketing. This could be with an agency, mobile gaming company or related creative studio environment.
  • English & Spanish language mastery
  • Working knowledge of the Apple iOS and Android operating systems.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Proficient in Unity with the ability to to find solutions and workarounds to technical limitations of the build.
  • Proven experience with rendering in 3D software packages such as Maya, 3DMax, etc.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize tasks.
  • Strong communication skills with an ability to take and deliver constructive feedback.
  • Must include a portfolio of work demonstrating your breadth of skill and specific information on what your individual project contributions were.
  • An interest in performance-driven ad creative, and an ability to spot trends or patterns in content in order to establish best practices for new content generation.
  • Able to collaborate on projects in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong eye for quality and acute attention to detail.
  • Passionate about mobile games and technology.
