Jam City, Los Angeles’ premier mobile gaming studio, is looking for a motivated and detail driven Marketing Design Intern for the Fall 2020 semester to join our Marketing Design team remotely for this Fall’s internship program. Within this internship you will create compelling concepts and assets for our mobile game titles across major social and ad publishing networks. We are looking for a creative and talented student who has big ideas, is highly motivated, and interested in the mobile gaming industry. This internship opportunity will be entirely remote and part-time (10-20 hours per week).

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Partner with the Marketing Design team in assisting with production work including resizing assets, preparing files for video creation, and localizing assets
  • Design videos and static ads for use on Facebook, Instagram, Ad Networks, etc
  • Create high quality ads for a variety of campaigns across our mobile titles such as: video ads, banners, gifs and statics
  • Animate, edit, design and compose marketing content following IP specific brand and style guidelines
  • Create concepts and adapt to different design styles and target users

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate university program in the U.S. during the Fall 2020 semester and able to intern remotely through December 2020
  • Please include a portfolio of work demonstrating your breadth of skill and project contributions with your application
  • Working towards a degree in design related field is preferred
  • Proficient in the use of Adobe Creative Suite; After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • Knowledge of design fundamentals such as: typography, composition, color
  • Knowledge of codecs, frame rates and video files
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to work on multiple projects in an efficient manner
  • Strong communication skills with an ability to understand and deliver constructive feedback
  • Able to collaborate on projects in a team-oriented environment
  • Strong eye for quality and acute attention to detail
  • Interest within the mobile gaming space

NICE TO HAVE:

  • Knowledge of Adobe Premiere
  • Illustration skills
