Jam City is on the hunt for an Associate Product Manager, Ads to deliver best-in-class advertising features in our next generation of top-10 cross-platform games. You will play a key role in defining the strategy and execution for ad monetization initiatives, working closely with engineers, designers and other Jam City product managers across the portfolio on their long-term strategic roadmaps. The ideal candidate loves playing mobile games, understands free-to-play (F2P) game economies and is an analytical problem solver.
Team: You will be part of our growing in-game advertising team to help Jam City’s ad monetization business to continue its successful tradition of year-over-year growth. The team members are well versed in the mobile and online advertising industry and are passionate about bringing the best advertising experience to our players.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive alignment with key stakeholders within game studios to forecast and project expected value from ads initiatives
- Communicate effectively and succinctly with internal and external partners to efficiently drive product performance
- Analyze and report on game feature performance, from high-level KPIs to deep dives into specific game systems and mechanics
- Identify and champion best practices for feature optimization and implementation
- Utilize game data, competitive research, and player feedback to formulate new feature ideas
- Write specifications and wireframe features
- Set, then deliver, business goals for new features
- Develop test plans for new features, including forming hypotheses, variant configurations, and quantitative success criteria
- Present product updates, KPIs, and other analysis to everyone from executives to the full game team
- Manage feature development from concept to launch, then make live optimizations based on analysis and player feedback to further improve performance
QUALIFICATIONS
- 1-3 years of experience in a product, data or business analyst role, ideally in the F2P mobile games industry
- Proven Data Analysis, SQL and Excel experience
- Detail oriented with great attention to accuracy is a must
- Strategic thinker, well-versed in conducting market research and applying sophisticated frameworks to decision making
- Ability to multi-task and priories tasks are critical
- BA/BS in quantitative or technical degrees a plus
- Ability to use Powerpoint, Keynote or Google Slides to summarize and visualize concepts
- Excellent communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience working in the mobile game industry and/or ad technology
- Passion/knowledge for mobile games
