We are looking for an awesome Art Outsource Manager to join our team!

As our Art Outsource Manager, you will be responsible for managing the ordering, tracking, delivery and ingestion of a variety of art assets for an exciting new project. You’ll help to manage our relationships with third party vendors, including being the primary point of contact with our team. Our future Art Outsource Manager is enthusiastic, possesses a strong work ethic, is able to multitask, and has the flexibility to react quickly to changing priorities in a fast-moving environment. They’re a natural organizer with an impeccable attention to detail as well as a good natured team player who is a clear and effective communicator.

As Jam City leans into this post-COVID world of hybrid working models, the ideal candidate must be ready to embrace change and be able to quickly adapt to an evolving work-style. At present time we are considering remote applicants, although being located in the general San Diego area is a bonus.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own the relationship between the studio and a number of third party vendors.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the studio.
  • Coordinate production of art assets with external partners and their internal counterparts.
  • Manage their schedules as needed.
  • Ensure high quality and style matching assets are delivered.
  • Work with studio stakeholders to meet internal production deadlines.
  • Create and maintain outsource budgets.
  • Negotiate rates and assist with execution of contracts.
  • Develop and oversee review, feedback, and approval processes for asset deliveries.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Be a self starter who is comfortable working independently and can own your own outcomes.
  • 5+ years of industry experience, including some experience in art leadership positions.
  • Previous experience working with third party vendors.
  • Previous experience managing schedules.
  • A strong attention to detail.
  • A clear understanding of art creation pipelines.
  • Clear and concise communicator, both written and verbal.
  • A general understanding of the mobile games industry.
  • A strong attention to detail.
  • A passion for making great games and art!

NICE TO HAVE

  • Art direction experience.
  • Experience managing budgets.
  • Experience with project management tools.
  • Possession of a Tardis or other equivalent means of space/time travel.
