Jagex is expanding and extending its portfolio with fresh franchise titles, new IP and, in 2018 launched Jagex Partners, delivering third-party publishing and operational services exclusively for the living games of the future.

Job Purpose:
Responsible for production, and game development support for Jagex Partners led efforts, where you work closely with the Jagex teams and domain experts that bring a game from game development to live operations. You execute against the roadmap and its key initiatives to achieve the game’s strategic objectives and will work with internal stakeholders, teams within the studio, and our external partners to set and achieve those objectives.
Key Duties:
- Work with the Jagex Partners team, and the domain expert teams across Jagex that support us, and our external partners in delivering awesome online games to our players.
- Ensure a quality live service, balancing the current needs of the business and consumer as you work on features and milestones further into the roadmap.
- You work with external game development to develop criteria and a framework for a successful living game, driving development and execution excellence, as you are obsessed with the player’s experience.
- Experienced in Agile development where you support, coach, and mentor high performing scrums to develop games that are also in live operation.
- Track, promote, and relay information on key decisions & shared discussions, follow up on actions and communications.
- Create good working relationships, manage communication of goals, roadmaps, plans, requirements, and status to all areas of the business and partners.
- Understand risk assessment and mitigation processes that can help the team deliver the best possible game.
- Extensive travel to other headquarters, other game studios, game conferences and partner offices.
Essential Requirements:
- Expertise using agile methodologies on a mid to large-scale game development team
- Experience in new game development, and live service games on PC or Console.
- Avid gamer with a passion for creating innovative and compelling new games
- Experience with JIRA or similar project tracking software is essential.
- Strong analytical mind with excellent people and communication capabilities
