Inxile Entertainment is looking for a Producer that will help to guide a team of talented and experienced game developers in developing and shipping AAA games. Working from one of our offices in California or Louisiana, you’ll partner with artists, designers, and engineers to deliver best-in-industry experiences. If you’re interested and you are a leader in the industry that is experienced, motivated, and highly skilled, our team would love to meet you. This is a full-time position in either our Tustin, California or New Orleans, Louisiana locations; you must be willing to relocate.  For out of the country candidates, you must have a work VISA in the USA, we’re unable to sponsor at this time.

Requirements:

  • Have taken at least one AAA title through the development process including shipping in a production role
  • Have worked with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver significant game features in a shipped title
  • Have helped development teams and disciplines to create efficient development pipelines that balance quality and timeliness
  • Experienced with the Microsoft Office suite, with advanced skills in Excel and Project
  • Experienced with Jira, Shotgun or other project management tools
  • Experienced with multiple development methodologies and can speak to the advantages and suitability of each (Agile, Kanban, Waterfall, etc.)
  • Experience working with outsourcing groups and contractors and aligning their deliverables with internal development goals

Responsibilities

  • Coordination and day-to-day production of multiple development strike teams or major disciplines
  • Communication of project status to Lead Producer and other production staff across all areas of responsibility
  • Collaboration with discipline leads and other producers in the development and optimization of workflows
  • Establish/maintain production/tracking processes to increase efficiency and predictability while maintaining a high-quality bar
  • Help strike teams to organize short term goals sprint-to-sprint that align with long term goals in the high-level project schedule
  • Help motivate the development team
  • Champion new production methodologies, techniques, and software
  • Assist in managing external contractors – specifically deadlines and deliverables
  • Identify and remove development roadblocks and bottlenecks for all areas of responsibility
  • Help to drive delivery of a polished, highly rated game on time and on budget

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Passionate gamer with a love for RPGs
  • Experience with UE4 development
  • Game industry experience in a non-Production role
