Inven Global is looking for a freelance Gaming Guides Writer. You are an expert of your game of choice and want to share your knowledge, teach, and educate fans on how to become better. You contribute written, video, and graphic content and that entertains, informs, and engages our readers.
Responsibilities:
- Pitch and write Guide-type content for your game of choice, including:
- Beginners, Intermediate, and Advanced guides
- Tier Lists
- “How To”s
- Tips, tricks, and “things I wish I knew before” articles
- Work with experienced editorial staff to deliver high quality content and improve your style
- Games looking to cover include:
- Riot Games universe:
- League of Legends
- Teamfight Tactics
- Valorant
- MMORPGs:
- Final Fantasy 14
- Lost Ark
- New World
- Multiplayer titles:
- Diablo 2: Ressurected
- Super Smash Bros. (Melee and Ultimate)
- Call of Duty (Warzone and Black Ops)
- Fortnite
- Various hot titles including games like AOE 4 and Ruined King, but also soon-to-release titles like Pokemon Legends: Arceus, Elden Ring, Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, God of War: Ragnarok, Hogwarts Legacy, Breath of the Wild 2, etc.)
- Riot Games universe:
Required Qualifications:
- Fluent in English
- Experience in SEO practices
- Deep knowledge of their game of choice (provable high rank a bonus)
- Previous track record of writing guides (include 2-3 samples of your work)
