Kickstart is a Government scheme aimed to help support young people back into work after the economic effects of the pandemic. It’s aimed at 16-24-year-olds who are not in education and are currently claiming universal credit.

Six to Start is a London-based company specialising in fitness, gameplay, and storytelling. They’ve co-created Zombies, Run!, the world's bestselling smartphone fitness app with four million players, and The Walk, the first smartphone fitness game funded by the UK's Department of Health.
This role involves the creation of 2D illustrations, graphics, and art for our games including Zombies, Run!, Zombies, Run! 5K Training and The Walk. The Junior Artist will work according to briefs and feedback provided by other members of the production team, communicated in writing and through team meetings.
Work will be completed according to established art specifications, templates, and asset handling procedures. The Junior Artist will also help to create new sketches and designs, as well as develop ideas for new merchandise.
You must be competent with Adobe Creative Cloud tools including Photoshop and Illustrator, Slack, Google Docs, Google Calendar, and have excellent written communication and time-management skills.
Homeworking Information
- The Junior artist will receive all necessary equipment and software for the duration of the job, including Apple laptop and headphones
- They will be expected to be present on workplace chat apps including Slack during core hours.
- They will need a reliable, high-speed internet connection with a quiet environment that can accommodate videoconferencing calls.
