Into Games
🇬🇧 Farnborough

We are a virtual reality games publisher and developer based in Farnborough, UK. We’ve been at the forefront of innovative gaming since 2006 when CEO Patrick O’Luanaigh founded the company.

Since 2013 we’ve been focused entirely on virtual reality. As one of the lucky few to get our hands-on Oculus Rift and PlayStation VR prototypes, we were among the first to step into this immersive new medium. We haven’t looked back since. Combining innovation with excellence, the culmination of our work so far is the #1 selling, Best of E3 Award-winning, Phantom: Covert Ops. We’ve got several exciting projects planned for 2021 and beyond, including Fracked, our recently announced PS VR exclusive. We can’t wait to show you more...

This position is to work within the Finance team ensuring timely and accurate processing of the financial transactions of this vibrant VR studio. You will be assisting the Financial Accountant with analysis to ensure that the managers have the information they need to make business decisions.

Some of your tasks will include processing invoices, credit card receipts and expense claims using online platforms, assisting with keeping the fixed asset register up to date for new purchases and any asset disposals, processing purchase orders and ensure compliance with the company’s PO system and Bank Reconciliations. In Addition to assisting in the forecast process, and with the month end and management reporting.

The role is ideal for someone with an interest in finance/accounting, and it will give an excellent introduction into working in an accounting department inside a Game Studio, learning the month-end processes and developing key system skills. The person will also have an opportunity to spent time in other departments including production, marketing, and facilities to see other areas of a company.

The individual should have

  • A level mathematics or higher,
  • experience with Microsoft Excel and Word,
  • as well as good communication skills and a proactive personality.

We intend for this role to be office based when the restrictions allow, this will give the individual the greatest opportunity to shadow others and learn the communications skills from the team. Our offices are based in Farnborough and there will be another member of the operations team on site to mentor throughout the six months.
