The Position

Avalanche Studios is hiring an Associate Producer for an unannounced self published title being developed in Liverpool. The Associate Producer will be primarily responsible for monitoring the progress of cross disciplined teams and maintaining the schedule and backlog. Through this work they will provide the Production team with regular updates on status and risks as required. Their work in coordinating resources and goals alongside the Production Team and Discipline Leads will ensure the successful completion of milestones and deliveries. They will help run Scrums and other meetings efficiently, pushing for best practice in production at all times. They will drive effective communication amongst the team and help to resolve problems for team members and the project as a whole in a timely manner. They will be vital to maintaining a strong team spirit and a productive environment in the studio. The candidate should be an energetic and highly organised person, who can motivate and show great leadership promise. We want a proactive problem solver who can adapt to different situations and facilitate others to do their jobs that much better. They should be as good at working with people as they are with spreadsheets.  

You will join an all new team making a thrilling Avalanche title on which you will have a large degree of responsibility and ownership. This role has a clear pathway for career growth and offers close mentorship to get you there.

Required qualifications

Experience with project and backlog planning including agile/scrum development methodology. Strong emotional intelligence and soft skills managing people. Excellent listening and communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly. Excellent written and verbal English

Desirable qualifications

Experience of running and driving a team or sub-team forward with focus on cross disciplined game development. Proven leadership experience. Experience as an Associate Producer within game development/production. Credit on shipped games as Associate Producer or similar and has been involved with projects through a complete development cycle. Experience with any of risk management, QA, Localisation and compliance.
