Our IT Team is looking for a Systems Technician to join our team. As a Systems Technician, you will be responsible for providing second-level PC User support for both hardware and software for remote and on-site staff. Responsible for all aspects of help desk support and technical assistance to address a wide variety of user issues.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Provides second-level support for all PC-related problems. Issues may range from basic application support (Microsoft Windows, Office), to specific application support (Maya, internal tools), as well as PC Hardware issues/requests (upgrade PC, upgrade operating systems, upgrade peripherals) and network issues.
- Deployment, Office 365, AD Security, and others as required.
- Provides first-level support for IT-related issues with Tools and Build processes.
- Administrates LogMeIn PC management software:
- Hardware and Software Inventory Tracking
- Alert management
- Anti-Virus management
- Provides input on budget needs for desktop PC and software
- Assist with setting up, tracking, and deploying publisher’s proprietary hardware such as Development kits and Test kits
- Responsible for installing and troubleshooting publisher’s proprietary software (e.g., SN Systems Target manager, Debugger, etc.)
- Other duties may be assigned
Education and/or Experience:
- Two to four years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of general development software; Microsoft Word, Excel, Exchange, Project, and Access; MySQL, VMware Vcenter, WhatsupGold
- Must have knowledge of designing and troubleshooting network systems, security products and systems; security investigations; data storage management and backup and workstation support
- Is a Subject Matter Expert in one or more IT (Information Technology) applications. This includes, but is not limited to, Anti-Virus, Windows Patching, Automated Application

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

- The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
Work Environment:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places and vibration
- The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet
- Should be noted that will be subject to higher noise output in main server room
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock
