This is an internship for Summer 2021!

We are seeking motivated intern who is interested in working in the exciting environment of our Animation Department. There will be opportunities to work with members of other departments during the implementation of your rigs. The intern will also have the opportunity to be mentored by senior members of our Rigging and Animation team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • The Rigging Intern would be creating simple animation rigs and provide support to the animation team.
  • The required rigs would include in-game props, clothing, vehicles, characters, and bug fixing.
  • This intern will have the opportunity to learn new techniques and tools that are required to bring our characters to life.

Internship Qualifications:

  • Intern must be a full-time student enrolled at a college or university, working towards a BFA in Character Rigging. We will also consider Animation or Computer Science majors with rigging experience. Master's candidates may apply for this internship.
  • The ideal intern would be energetic, self-motivated, creative, and responsible, have a passion for video games and animation and be willing to work hard.
  • Python skills and previous experience with Maya is preferred.

Internship Details:

  • This is a paid, full-time internship.
  • The student must be available to intern 5 days per week for approximately 40 hours a week.
  • The duration of internship is flexible, but we expect at least an 8 week commitment from our interns.
  • This position will be located in our Burbank or North Carolina Studio.
