Who we are:
ESA eSports & Digital Media is a new eSports organization that will host local & international tournaments and leagues as well as creating digital content for video gaming & eSports audience. Although recently established, with its own dedicated eSports arena and production studios, ESA aims to be the biggest player in Turkey and the neighboring regions.
We are now establishing a young & energetic new team made up of gaming and eSports enthusiasts who see gaming as the profession of the future. We will be organizing tournaments & leagues for various different popular games.
We are looking for someone to lead our eSports Sales and Business Development activities and successfully expand our business contracts and partnerships also internationally.
Responsibilities:
- Continuously develop new tournament / league projects attractive to the brands and eSports fans at the same time.
- Sell sponsorship & advertising to brands and co-develop projects as per the needs of the brands.
- Contact game publishers for co-development projects, negotiate for better terms and price pools.
- Establish and manage the relationships with the digital platforms.
- Build relationships with new partners; structure, negotiate and close strategic partnerships to consistently grow the business.
- Continuously monitor market trends and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities and businesses.
Requirements:
- +5 years of experience in gaming / eSports industry
- Passion, experience & deep understanding of gaming, fantasy leagues, eSports and sports fandom
- Strong experience in business development / strategic account management / sales
- Strong communicator and negotiator who would represent ESA in external party discussions
- Analytical mind that can structure terms to achieve win-win partnership outcome
- An ability to initiate and interpret legal documents while working with attorneys.
- Extensive database of senior contacts throughout the industry and the ability to network
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English.
