Your Mission

As a Weapon Concept Artist you will support the Viewmodel art team with all aspects of design, from full weapon platform designs to manufacturer logoing and blueprint ideation. You will be involved closely with not only the Weapons art team but the entire art department in helping to build out a healthy catalogue of content for players to interact with and enjoy. You will have a major impact on the taste and direction of weapons as we support the game through live operations.

Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

  • Build out realistic firearms platforms from start to finish
  • Support the Weapons team with blueprint direction, logo design, paintovers and whatever else is needed to make the viewmodels the best they can be
  • Influence branding, bundles and help to be a tastemaker for the project

Player Profile

Experience

  • Experience in weapon design for shipped projects
  • Experience in graphic design and traditional art

Knowledge & Skills

  • Proficient with Fusion 360
  • Traditional art ability, able to sketch and ideate quickly
  • Deep understanding of firearm design, both functionality and aesthetics
