Infinity Ward is seeking a talented and passionate Lead Release Engineer to oversee build infrastructure and release services development. This is an opportunity to lead development on the world’s premiere FPS franchise. We’re looking for someone who comes to the table with new ideas, but has the pragmatism required to ship a video game.

Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

  • 5+ years of experience in build infrastructure management and related services engineering.
  • 1 shipped title working as a senior engineer specializing in build and release code.
  • Experience with instrumentation and analysis of build services infrastructure.
  • Experience working with or in mature build pipelines and build infrastructure at scale.
  • Experience with automation and test frameworks.
  • Deep knowledge of C++ programming and practices.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytic skills.
  • Love of games.

Pluses

  • Experience as a managing engineer.
  • Experience in other areas of video game technology.
  • Experience with multi-platform development, including PC, Xbox, and PlayStation.
  • Working in and extending an established code base.
