This role requires thorough knowledge of character modeling and animation, particularly for game applications.

In this role you will develop technical expertise to assist in a variety of technical and artistic tasks.

You will work very closely with and receive support from the CCO, fellow technical artists, design team and engineers.

You’ll be creating and animating characters, you’ll be overseeing the global team's implementation and solve technical challenges all the way through the pipeline and into the final product.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the Design Team to define and develop character assets in Maya and Unity.
  • Asset optimization – topology reduction, draw call reduction, texture baking, etc.
  • Collaborate and iterate based on the team’s needs.
  • Direct global teams on technical and artistic challenges.
  • Work with technical artists and developers to adjust the pipeline as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of character modeling experience in Maya for film or games industry.
  • Experience with character design.
  • High-res character sculpting (Max, ZBrush or a similar sculpting tool).
  • Experience with skeleton creation and skinning for games.
  • Rigging experience (skeletal control rig, etc.)
  • Experience with 3D textures.
  • Fluent English.
  • Availability for a full-time job in Ramat Ha’Chayal, Tel Aviv.
