## Description

We’re hiring a contract Unreal Engine Technical Artist / Simulation Engineer to help build interactive 3D environments, systems, and workflows for AI evaluation. This role sits at the intersection of real-time 3D, technical problem solving, and simulation design. You’ll create structured Unreal environments, interactive logic, and reliable scene behaviors that support agent-based learning, testing, and iteration.

This is a strong fit for someone who enjoys building beyond traditional game content and is excited by the idea of creating robust, high-quality Unreal experiences that are usable, testable, and scalable.

**What you’ll do**

- Build interactive 3D environments and systems in Unreal Engine
- Create gameplay logic, object interactions, and scene behaviors
- Develop clean, reliable Unreal workflows for structured simulation-style experiences
- Collaborate on environment logic, validation, and technical implementation details
- Help ensure scenes are stable, performant, and easy to iterate on
- Work closely with a small team to turn ideas into production-ready Unreal environments

**What we’re looking for**

- Strong Unreal Engine experience building interactive 3D projects
- Experience with C++
- Ability to create polished scenes and implement technical logic cleanly
- Strong instincts around debugging, edge cases, and system reliability
- Comfortable working independently and communicating clearly in a contractor setting

**Preferred**

- 3-5+ years working in Unreal Engine on games, simulations, interactive tools, or related 3D experiences
- Experience with pipelines, tooling, procedural systems, or technically complex environments
- Interest in AI, simulation, or emerging interactive workflows
