IMVU is rapidly expanding it development team and is seeking a senior online mobile game engineer for an exciting upcoming project. You will work with a talented team of developers, artists, product managers and game designers to help craft and launch IMVU's future in online mobile games.

Then will you join our team and can -
- Be on the forefront of building or next gen mobile platform game servers
- Improve the scalability of the server, to get large amount of players on a single instance
- Come up with creative new solutions to improve the network performance of the game
- Work to reduce network throughput and minimize cost
- Prevent desync and maintain security of the server and client
- Troubleshoot end-to-end multiplayer issues
- Work in a C++ server environment
What You Will Need -
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience
- Five or more years of C++ experience
- Demonstrable experience building games client/server network architectures
- Strong communication skills and ability to lead by example
- Experience using Python, Lua, or other scripting language
- Experience working with source control tools like git or perforce
- To have shipped multiple online games or games with online components
Bonus Attributes -
- Mobile online game experience
- AWS cloud deployment of servers experience
- Experience with Kubernetes
