IMVU is rapidly expanding its development team and is seeking a principal level mobile app and UI lead for an exciting upcoming project. This project involves building a fully featured app on top of a cross-platform game engine targeting both iOS and Android.
If you
- Are an expert at building apps for iOS or Android
- Have a deep understanding of mobile app architecture
- Have an intuitive understanding and appreciation for UX design and the nuances of UI behaviour on mobile devices
- Can deliver a highly polished user interface using a cross-platform toolkit
- Are strong in C++ and understand how and when to bridge to iOS and Android native code when needed
- Can take a feature from planning to release working across multiple disciplines and platforms
- Can mentor and grow less experienced engineers
- Are a superstar engineer with great coding skills

What You Will Need
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience
- Five or more years of mobile development experience
- Strong communication skills and ability to lead by example
- Experience with integrating C++ with mobile clients
- Experience working with source control tools like git or perforce
- To have shipped multiple apps on mobile
- As a bonus - have experience in Unreal 4 and proprietary 3D game engines
