You live and breath video editing and post production. You’re also no stranger to motion graphics with After Effects, titling, and you have a knack for coloring, too. And you speak Portuguese!

You will work closely with our team of producers, cinematographers, and players to create some of the most exciting video content in esports. You will have creative freedom to influence the look and feel of all our content by handling and finishing many of our videos.

Tech-savvy leadership skills and a keen eye for aesthetics and organization are a plus. It’s important to work towards your strengths and not your weaknesses. Ideal candidates should be excited to become an essential part of the creative process of making content that highlights the fascinating and booming world of esports. A passion for storytelling should come through your work as our content reaches fans all around the globe.

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • You are excited and passionate about storytelling and video editing
  • You are hands on and do the work yourself, and you have a deep knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite – there isn’t a day that Premiere and After Effects aren’t open on your desktop
  • You have some experience with social media platforms, including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Reddit, and Snapchat, and maybe you’ve dabbled in Twitch
  • You are highly organized
  • Leadership experience, takes charge

  • Can take editorial notes/comments amicably & deliver

  • Works well under pressure and tight deadlines

Responsibilities:

  • Edit and finish variety of our series and video content – including, coloring, basic motion graphics design and animation, sound editing and basic sound design
  • Leads editing project from start to finish
  • Work with producers to create video content, including gathering elements and developing the visual flow and story
  • Help define the direction of our content with a keen eye for current trends, aesthetics, and storytelling
  • Mastery of post production workflow: offload & ingest footage, project organization, prepping transcription files, initial scene cutting

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not mandatory, ideally with a major in Film/Television, or with equivalent work experience
  • Highly detail-oriented
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving ability
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and creative skills
  • Experience in documentary and/or sports editing and/or shooting preferred
  • Potential for full time, salaried position with benefits package following a trial period
  • Speaks Portuguese natively or with fluency
