LA’s premier esports organization is looking for an experienced and passionate Product/Technology Manager to oversee the Company’s fan engagement products and services across live events, commerce, content and more. This role is responsible for driving continuous improvement of existing products as well as launching new services and initiatives. The manager will lead the team’s efforts to leverage technology and other digital assets (e.g., websites, mobile app(s), software, etc.) to engage and grow its fanbase, working cross-functionally with other departments (e.g., Marketing) as needed. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in fast-paced (e.g., start-up/rapid growth) environments, capable of wearing multiple hats, and inspired to build the best experiences and products for fans and the gaming community in general. You will work closely with our passionate team of producers, marketers, and developers to achieve our goal of becoming the leader in Esports.

We are a tightly knit team that functions under the larger umbrella of Immortals, a global esports organization based in Los Angeles. Founded in 2015, Immortals raised strategic investment from AEG, Lionsgate, and other notable investors. Our teams play competitively in the biggest gaming competitions in Super Smash Bros, Overwatch, Dota 2, CS:GO, Arena of Valor, Clash Royale, and more. Immortals strives to create a long-lasting and inclusive community of professional gamers, aspiring players, and passionate fans united by the goal of competitive success.

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Passionate about esports and gaming
  • 2+ years managing web products or equivalent experience, bonus for specific experience managing transactional, subscription and other direct to consumer commerce products
  • Experience identifying key performance indicators (“KPIs”) and creating actionable plans to improve user experience and other business goals based on those indicators
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • College degree, preferably in a technical field

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end our fan engagement, ticketing, merchandise and events focused web properties and products and grow them in conjunction with our events, marketing, content and other teams
  • Collaborate with different departments to identify new product and technology opportunities to grow and monetize our fanbase and execute on critical initiatives
  • Manage in-house and external development, design and IT resources to execute on strategic vision
  • Create and communicate analysis on performance to senior executive team and turn those insights into action
  • Source, evaluate, and maintain hardware & software infrastructure in conjunction with our other technology professionals and external vendors
