Description

As a content producer at Immortals you are responsible for driving the stories that we tell by creating engaging content for our fanbase and partners that deliver against our company goals. This primarily includes videography, editing, writing, reviewing and brainstorming content. The role reports to the Director of Brand and will work closely with the Partnerships, Social, and Competitive teams at the company.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Managing video projects to completion through the pre production, post production, and the review process.
  • Brainstorming and script writing full asset concepts for partnership deliverables.
  • Managing and maintaining a network of outsource professionals that will help to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of our asset creation pipeline.
  • Leading content shoots and directing on-camera talent of all backgrounds from professional esports players to social media Influencers etc.
  • Maintaining studio equipment including lenses, cameras, lights and microphones.
  • Supporting visual design elements including still photography, graphics and motion graphic elements.
  • Thorough knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom and Illustrator.
    • Color correction knowledge, use of Da Vinci Resolve is a bonus
    • Understanding of 3D workflow (C4D, Blender), compositing and VFX is a bonus
  • Extensive knowledge of cameras and camera accessories both for photography and videography.
  • Extensive knowledge of Social platforms and best practices.
  • Ability to shoot on the ground with competitive teams in LA.
  • Must have a strong portfolio demonstrating role requirements as well a solid understanding in best practices for different social media channels, emphasis on gaming and game culture is important

Competitive Operations

  • You should be able to form strong relationships with players and other competitive staff to aid in the creation of content and getting the best performance out of players.
  • Have an extensive understanding of the esports landscape with a specific focus on how the LCS and other teams operate as well as understanding the market and storylines that each player and team are developing.
  • Need to be able to build out authentic storylines for the LCS and other competitive teams.
