We are looking for a Localization Specialist (EN>PTBR>EN) with professional writing experience. You must have flexibility to handle multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment, and you will work closely with our Product, Brand, Marketing, and Operation teams to stay ahead of localizing content for product launches, marketing initiatives, support releases, and more.

About The Role

You will:

Own and manage the localization and linguistic quality of digital assets from English into Brazilian Portuguese
Localize content like new features, updates, themed events, publishing tasks, internal communications, and more
Handle multiple projects at once while prioritizing your tasks and meeting deadlines
Communicate daily with an international team on a variety of projects
Fix linguistic bugs and flag localization issues to the relevant teams
Be responsible for proofreading content provided by external vendors
Continually update Style Guides and Glossaries for your language
Collect, map, and prioritize local needs and known issues
Dedicate time to perform LQA tests in-game
Be responsible for communicating with the BR team about upcoming events, social media initiatives, and more

Requirements

Native Brazilian Portuguese speaker
+ 1 years of localization experience, preferably in the tech/entertainment industry
Experience using CAT tools (i.e., MemoQ, Trados, Memsource, etc.)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages (EN/PTBR)
A degree in Translation, Communications, or similar field of study is a plus
Reside in São Paulo - SP
