Humble Bundle is hiring a Director, Product Design to lead its design team! We're looking for someone excited to build elegant products in a fast paced environment. Our team needs an experienced Product Design Director who is excited to partner up with our product, engineering, and marketing teams to define a new direction for Humble Bundle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and communicate a clear and compelling design vision
  • Execute the design vision in partnership with cross-functional teams
  • Build, mentor, and lead a world-class team of product designers
  • Work hands-on and be comfortable rolling up your sleeves and working on specific projects as necessary
  • Be an advocate for our customers to grow the Humble business

Experience

  • 10+ years experience in product design
  • 5+ years experience building and leading teams of Product Designers
  • Experience leading cross-site teams and outsourcing
  • Has shipped numerous web, mobile, and client products
  • Experience prototyping client, web, and mobile responsive designs
  • Proficiency with Sketch, Adobe XD, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop
  • Experience in the gaming industry is a plus
  • Experience in ecommerce is a plus

Successful Candidates will

  • Have a portfolio with visually appealing, and well explained UX/UI/interaction designs
  • Be enthusiastic about growing and developing a diverse team of designers
  • Demonstrate a well-rounded understanding of information architecture
  • Have great taste and aesthetic sensibilities
  • Be able to communicate your ideas and concepts to stakeholders
  • Be comfortable turning customer problems into delightful experiences
  • Work through business ambiguity to create clear design direction
  • Demonstrate a deep-seated awareness of what makes a great product user experience
  • Humbly listen, clearly articulate positions, and advocate for design across the company
