Your Role:
We are looking for an experienced IT Manager who will administrate and organize the response to requests of technological assistance in attempts to ensure employees’ tech stability and reliability.
- Maintains the healthy status of the server which involves in-depth backend work
- Establishes projects and tasks that junior level IT members can complete
- Uses insight and expertise to delineate the severity of certain projects and delegates them appropriately
- Spearheads the most sensitive and difficult projects to ensure quality of completion
- Connects constantly with NAC team, which monitors the off hours of maintenance
- Develops detailed reports which justify purchase for equipment which are then presented to management and the appropriate parties
- Processes quotes and ensures payment to vendors
- Administrates the help desk queue by ensuring work is being done on the designated tickets and requests
- Assists the network staff in the support of the appliances that make up the HookBang network
- Takes on various projects that HookBang might offer to pilot in the Austin region
- Works directly with the security team to support their efforts
- Works alongside HookBang with any SCCM related task
- Manages Austin ITIL metrics and analytics to project budgets and inventory needs
- Designs and implements infrastructure processes
- Designs and implements automation solutions for core service
- Designs and implements layouts for Server rooms that get built out in Austin
- Works alongside the system engineering team to maintain and support existing server infrastructure
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related discipline, or relevant work experience
- 3+ AAA shipped titles with management or lead responsibilities, specifically in the game industry
- Commitment to code quality, documentation and sound testing procedures
- Ability to lead, manage, and mentor the work of others
- Excellent project management and time management skills
- Expertise with the C/C++ programming language along with a strong familiarity with OO design principles preferred but not necessary
