Your Role:

We are looking for an experienced Environment Artist to create highly detailed game environments, world assets, and visually perfect open worlds and levels by fine-tuning all elements.

  • Work with the Art Director and other artists to build structures, props and other assets to populate in a large open world.
  • Optimize assets to run on Nintendo Switch.
  • Work in proprietary software to build open worlds and individual levels.
  • Optimize UI Assets.
  • W2 or 1099 contract available

Requirements

  • At least 4 years experience in the game industry, specifically modeling and texturing environments.
  • Shipped 2+ titles as an environment artist.
  • Advanced Maya experience.
  • Experience with Perforce.
  • Demonstrated grasp of scale, proportion lighting, and form.
  • Solid understanding of the aesthetics of environment, function vs. form relationships and how this can enhance gameplay.
  • Team player with the drive and initiative to deliver high-quality work within performance and time restrictions.
