Your Role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Associate Producer to assist with production ownership of a functional team on a AAA gaming project.

  • Work with project leads to guide projects from concept to ship.
  • Act as a liaison, coordinating multiple disciplines such as Engineering, Art, Audio, Animation, Design, and QA, in order to fulfill project goals and objectives.
  • Facilitate communication and accountability across disciplines, build awareness and promote alignment of project goals, schedules, and milestones across the team.
  • Identify and help remove roadblocks.
  • Prioritize and assign tasks to the appropriate people, create and update schedules and tasks.
  • Ensure features of major tasks are prioritized with stakeholder, scoped and scheduled.
  • Collaborate with leads to determine best practices, development pipelines and resource allocation.
  • Communicate with internal or external stakeholders and partners on expectations and deliverables.
  • Assist Producers and Studio Heads with coordinating a variety of production oriented tasks, objectives, planning and scheduling.
  • Work closely with producers, developers and other departments around the organization to plan, cost, implement, and deliver the best game possible.
  • Assist Producers in keeping the schedules, documentation, and bug database organized and up to date.
  • Communicate frequently with the producers and team leads on project status, risks, and opportunities.
  • Distribute builds and game assets to key stakeholders.
  • Update game documentation and flow charts.
  • Track and process payments/invoices.
  • Work with team leads to determine resources necessary to see projects through to completion.
  • Schedule and attend meetings; take concise and comprehensive notes and distribute them to appropriate personnel.
  • Be eager to learn everything possible about game production.
  • Contribute to a positive work environment.
  • Assist with software testing and equipment tracking.

Requirements

  • College degree in related field such as Computer Science, Computer Graphic Art, or Business Management or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years game production experience.
  • Strong technical background with software engineering or technical management experience.
  • Proficient project and people management skills.
  • Strong team building abilities.
  • Solid understanding of the game development process for AAA games.
  • Knowledge of first party submission standards (Microsoft, Nintendo, Sony).
  • Project management experience and demonstrable track record of scheduling and completing projects on time.
  • Passion to create fun games with an engaging player experience
  • Adept with Word and Excel (or Google Sheets).
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Agile Project management software and bug management tools.
  • Experience tracking complex projects.
