We believe that competitive games create lasting moments and are committed to recreating that experience for others to enjoy. We’re looking for a QA Manager to grow and head a team of QA analysts. You will oversee all QA activities and will be ensuring that all external and internal requirements are met before our game reaches players. You will be accountable for delivering and executing a comprehensive test strategy that will enable players to have a quality experience for our game.
Responsibilities:
- Define test strategies, approach and execution for the product
- Develop test plans that cover quality coverage needs in any given stage of development
- Track and communicate quality status, including risks and mitigation plans
- Support testing activities across all disciplines within product space
- Report on quality and milestone coverage metrics
- Create new QA processes and continuously improve existing QA processes by facilitating retros and performing root cause analysis
- Collaborate with leadership and product owners to establish quality bars
- Spin up and manage outsourced testing vendors efforts
- Hire, train and manage QA team
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years Quality Assurance Experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- 2+ years managing and leading QA professionals
- You have experience with product development workflows and pipelines
- You have experience with strategic goal setting, planning and tactical execution
- You have experience with testing live service multiplayer games
- You have experience working with remote teams
- You have experience shipping games on multiple platforms
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with Unreal Engine
- Experience with QA Automation
- ISTQB Foundation Level
