Lead Development Manager - Freelance or Part-time PAYE (20-25 hours per week). Remote working. £30-£40k pro-rata per annum - dependent on experience.

The Role:

Heaven Media requires a highly motivated, creative thinker with demonstratable experience in developing major creative projects from conception through to fulfilment. You're a strong conceptual thinker, with loads of experience translating client briefs into proposals, and then transitioning them into production within an agency.

You'll deliver highly creative work, backed up with strong strategic thinking, and present it clearly and convincingly to multiple stakeholders both internally and to clients. Working closely with the cross-agency teams, you’ll be expected to develop creative campaigns which appeal to our clients’ audiences and are engaging and meet brand guidelines. You'll coordinate with other members of the team on these projects, helping them to develop their creativity, presentation and communication styles and ensuring that high creative standards are maintained.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Developing best-in-class ideas for our clients and seamlessly bring them to life by working with internal departments.
  • Lead the development of exciting creative campaigns and visualize these through striking, convincing PowerPoint presentations.
  • Assessing, dissecting and understanding new client briefs and then have ability to bring these to life in PowerPoint format
  • Providing thorough research for the ideation process. You not only have great ideas, but you also understand how to apply these to our clients’ needs. You then bring these to life and are able to articulate this in PowerPoint or Word.
  • Presenting key client pitches in collaboration with the Business Development Team.
  • Play a fundamental role in managing each creative project from conception through to completion to ensure vision and goals are achieved.
  • Directing internal departments to ensure their work meets the creative objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Client Services to understand areas of expertise, current schedules, and budgets/resources.
  • Mentor and motivate the client facing teams to be more creative thinkers and doers. Leading creative sessions and meetings with the client facing teams.
  • Attend key industry events and complete necessary competitor research to identify key trends and develop creative ideas, as soon as it is Covid-safe to do so.
  • Prepare campaign summaries which detail successes and learnings which can be built upon for future creative campaigns.

Essential Skills & Experience Required:

  • An energetic, creative and entrepreneurial character with at least 4 years’ experience working within a fast-paced creative, marketing agency environment.
  • Experience in aspects of marketing disciplines including (but not limited to) influencers, social media, content creation, events and advertising.
  • Extremely strong Microsoft PowerPoint skillset. You would consider an expert in PowerPoint creation, and have demonstrable experience of best-in-class presentations and results.
  • Awareness of opportunities and developments in the gaming and tech industry and the ability to share knowledge accordingly.
  • A strategic problem solver who can conjure up exciting ideas on the spot.
  • Excellent commercial acumen with a focus on growing the business and profitability.
  • Confident directing creative projects and taking ideas all the way through to post-production and launch.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels and articulate creative ideas in a way which inspires and motivates others and gets clients to buy our services.
  • High quality standards and customer focus.
  • Ability to work autonomously, under pressure, and meet deadlines.
  • Fluent in English both written & verbal. Fluency in an additional language is a massive plus.

Desirable Skills & Experience Required:

  • A bachelor’s degree, or similar professional qualification
  • Agency and/or in-house marketing background. You should be able to demonstrate that you’ve performed this role in similar positions in the past.
  • An existing understanding of new and innovative ways of engaging with consumers within the gaming and esports industry.
  • Experience of creating and presenting proposals to PC hardware manufacturers, gaming and esports companies.
