The Role:

Heaven Media is a marketing agency which delivers campaigns globally. We operate solely within the Gaming and eSports industry with specialist knowledge and experience within this market. Our core services are PR, sponsorships, influencers, social media and content creation, creative services (such as video production and photography), advertising, computer equipment shipping and hire and public relations.

We are currently seeking a highly organised and self-starting Business Development Manager to grow our business through client acquisition. This will be done primarily by bringing on board new clients, with a secondary emphasis on developing new services for existing clients. In additional to experience in successfully selling agency services to clients, this role requires a deep understanding of integrated marketing campaigns within the gaming & esports industry. This person will be a key member of our sales team and be able to contribute from day one to creating business opportunities in at least a few of our client services: Sponsorships, Influencers, Social Media, Content Creation, Creative Services, Events, Advertising, Loaner Pool and Public Relations.

The role will require an excellent understanding of our clients and businesses, internal and external communication skills, and strong working relationships within Heaven Media. Periodic travel to the UK Head Office and other locations may be required if the successful candidate chooses to work remotely (Covid-travel allowing).

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop Integrated Marketing Campaigns for new agency clients within the Gaming and Esports Industry; including endemic and non-endemic brands.
  • Proven ability to exceed sales goals with clearly defined targets.
  • Identify new client leads and converting these into high-probability opportunities.
  • Follow up & develop inbound business requests to convert into high-probability opportunities.
  • Awareness of industry and market trends, in order to translate these into business proposals.
  • Travel to clients and events as agency representative to speak to clients and industry representatives.
  • Work directly with the Managing Director and Business Director, EMEA.

Essential Skills & Experience Required:

  • 8+ years of Marketing experience in the Gaming Industry.
  • 5+ years of marketing experience.
  • 3+ years of experience selling agency services to clients.
  • Excellent presentation skills โ€“ PowerPoint, verbal, written, and in-person.
  • Proven track record of selling successful Integrated Marketing Campaigns.
  • Understanding for all the agencyโ€™s services: Events, Sponsorships, Influencers, Social Media, Content Creation, Creative Services, Advertising, Loaner Pool and Public Relations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both orally and written.
  • Well organised, delivering work to a brief and deadlines, sometimes under pressure.
  • General IT competence.
  • A team player and always ready to help others.
  • Creative and have a drive for action.
  • Reliable and independent approach to work.
  • High quality standards and client focussed.
  • Ability to work autonomously, under pressure, and meet deadlines.

Desirable Skills & Experience Required:

  • Degree or higher education qualification in Marketing is a plus.
  • Strong experience and interest in PC hardware, gaming, and esports.
  • Remote working experience desirable if the successful candidate chooses to work remotely.
