SUMMARY

Gunzilla Games is looking for a Junior Technical Artist who will setup and maintain Animation Blueprints in Unreal Engine, deliver prototypes for character pipelines, and build optimal workflows for our AAA title.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with Animators and Technical Animators to create best practices and optimal workflows
  • Analyse character related memory/performance concerns throughout a project's development
  • Setup and maintain Animation Blueprints in Unreal Engine together with the Gameplay teamStreamline workflow by proactively finding solutions and by working with production
  • Research and develop prototypes for character pipelines and help bring your co-workers' ideas to life
  • Work together with the Technical Art team as problem-solving unit of the company

REQUIREMENTS

  • Average knowledge of Unreal Engine's Animation System
  • Able to collaborate and work well with teams from various disciplines
  • Take ownership of shippable quality content/systems that are memory efficient and performant
  • Provide clear solutions to complicated issues
  • Ability to think out-of-the-box to overcome technical challenges

Will be a plus:

  • Familiar with creating and maintaining materials within Unreal Engine
