Summary

Our Strategic Media/Sales Planner (Internally we call them Client Solutions) team is the center of excellence for industry trends, GumGum's product performance and capabilities, and client goals. They use this knowledge to develop strategic data driven proposals leading all proposals including our top 50 and key accounts. They focus on setting up each campaign to successfully achieve client KPIs in order to deliver the GumGum standard of excellence.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the digital media landscape and have direct experience working with advertisers, building presentations and creating media grids. The role will work collaboratively with 3 – 4 sales people and their account management counter-parts. The planner will report to the Director of Key Account Strategy. We are open to hiring at a Senior level as well, depending on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with and support the sales team and account management teams to develop data driven presentations and proposals that will deliver KPI oriented results for our clients and drive high-margin revenue for GumGum
  • Develop a deep understanding of the GumGum platform, products and technology to support the sales staff in creating effective presentations and proposals
  • Manage all elements of proposal development including exceptions and mocks when requested
  • Provide creative and compelling proposal decks, while learning to tell a data driven story to strengthen presentation
  • Work with marketing when larger ideation needed
  • Develop and understand not only the CSM role but also how it impacts other teams
  • The CSM will work with their respective account manager regarding custom ad creative requests

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of digital media planning experience
  • Bachelors Degree Required

  • PowerPoint, Excel and Word skills a must
  • Knowledgeable of comScore, Quantcast and other research tools
