The opportunity

Guild is looking for its next superstar to join the team. We are searching for a new Talent Coordinator to work closely with talent, establishing lasting relationships and maintaining internal team and execution calendars for talent. The Talent Coordinator will implement Guild’s talent strategy across the UK and abroad while also supporting the day-to-day operations of the production department and assisting with contracts, team travel and administrative logistics. The Talent Coordinator may also support the Teams department, as needed, with their team travel, administration and player logistics.

The Talent Coordinator will also oversee Guild’s Talent through direct conversations with creators and agencies, working cross-departmentally to promote creator success and ensuring milestones are achieved. The Talent Coordinator collaborates cross-functionally to ensure campaigns are delivered accurately and within scope.

What you’ll do

  • Build relationships with the senior management team and talent

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (Creative, PR, Campaigns, Social, Partnerships and Content) to ensure our campaigns are delivered when talent is used

  • Manage talent that delivers social reach, content and engagement

  • Deliver reports outlining talent activity performance (i.e. reach, engagement, sales)

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry news and form opinions on retained, new and potential talent

  • Build relationships across a wider ecosystem, such as with athletes, entertainment talent and lifestyle talent

  • Assist with logistics for contracts, travel, including transportation, accommodation, and airlines as required

  • Responsible for administrative duties within the production department, including but not limited to taking meeting notes, creating document templates, and ongoing file organisation

  • Monitor player social media activity of talent

  • Assist with internal marketing and partnership requests for talent

  • Assist with monthly reconciliation and budget reports

  • All staff are responsible for the wellbeing and safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults on all Guild sites

  • Complete additional duties as may be required

What we look for

  • 2+ years experience in Events, Partnerships, Talent, or Sports/Esports Management with demonstrated success in the role

  • Experience identifying and managing talent and getting the best out of them

  • Experience in delivering and managing budgets and timelines

  • Experience working with talent remotely and in a face-to-face environment

  • Experience in prioritising and adjusting to rapidly changing schedules and shifting priorities

  • Deep understanding of esports and gaming will be considered an asset

  • Familiarity or knowledge with processes behind tournament operations and live events will be considered an asset

  • Able and willing to travel internationally on behalf of Guild Esports

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Google Suite, including Excel/Sheets, PowerPoint/Slides, and Word/Docs

  • Ability to troubleshoot PC and tech related issues

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to effectively manage key working relationships

  • Strong presentation skills

  • A passion or desire to work within gaming/traditional sports/entertainment/pop culture

  • Willingness to develop professional skills and expand skill set into wider areas of the creative and media industries

  • Ability to work independently and as part of the team

  • Ability to collaborate with the wider Guild team, particularly Creative and Production teams

  • You must have the right to work in the UK
