The opportunity
We are looking for a full-time Senior Partnerships Executive who will be a part of a dynamic Partnerships team that helps nurture and grow Guild’s partners and partnerships. This role is responsible for providing day-to-day support and assistance to the Senior Partnerships Managers and Head of Partnerships in the management, delivery and growth of Guild’s partners. The Senior Partnerships Executive will work to ensure that partnership objectives are realised, maximising potential for relationship renewal.
The Senior Partnerships Executive will directly manage and oversee relevant smaller partners and partnerships.
What you’ll do
Support the Senior Partnerships Manager and Head of Partnerships with the management of Guild’s commercial partner(s) in line with mutually beneficial business objectives and partnership KPIs, ensuring all contractual rights are delivered on time and to the highest standard
Plan, implement and evaluate effective partner campaigns using Guild’s assets and IP, including a proactive approach to campaign ideas, delivery of campaign assets, working to deadlines with the Marketing & Content team and capturing and reporting campaigns
Ensure always-on partner inventory is up-to-date and communicated to relevant stakeholders across the business (Twitch, socials, backdrops, Academy portal etc.)
Support the Senior Partnerships Manager and Head of Partnerships with the creation of year-long marketing calendars in collaboration with partners incorporating key business verticals including Performance, Academy, Apparel, Content and more
Work with the Content & Performance teams to deliver contracted appearances with Guild’s talent in a timely fashion
Ensure Guild’s partners are aware of cross-partner collaboration opportunities, where relevant
Develop and maintain excellent relationships with allocated partners through weekly status meetings, monthly reporting, and in-person quarterly business reviews
Develop and maintain excellent relationships with all internal stakeholders to ensure partners are successfully integrated across the business
Develop expertise on relevant partners, industries, and competitors within their category
Support the Senior Partnerships Manager and Head of Partnerships with partner meetings including partner agencies and other external parties
Identify relevant industry news & insights and communicate them to the department
Support Head of Partnerships on special projects, partnership events, and identifying and maximising commercial opportunities with current and prospective partner
Utilise evaluation tools to track partner return on investment and extract insights to advise partners on the best use of branded assets
Work with Data & Research Executives to build best-in-class case studies for use across the Partnership and Sales team
Complete additional duties as may be required
All staff are responsible for the wellbeing and safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults on all Guild sites, and will be trained to do so
What we look for
2+ years of experience in brand partnerships and/or sponsorships
Demonstrated working knowledge of partnerships, sponsorships, and rights activation
Knowledge of best practice in partnership delivery
Experience with data management and reporting
Proven operational experience with exceptional administrative skills and high attention to detail
Experience in delivering and managing budgets and timelines
Proactive, adaptable self-starter, willing learner and a team player
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to effectively manage key working relationships
Strong presentation skills
A passion or desire to work within gaming/traditional sports/entertainment/pop culture
Willingness to develop professional skills and expand skill set into wider areas of the creative and media industries
Ability to work independently and as part of the team
Ability to collaborate with the wider Guild team, particularly Creative and Production teams
