At Guerrilla, QA is an integral part of the development process, working closely with developers and production to help create the highest quality in our games. We are looking to add a technically inclined, self-driven QA Analyst to our team, with a specific focus in the area of graphics and performance.

What you will do

  • Own the technical quality of your assigned area end-to-end
  • Analyze and interpret data / workflows, recognize critical issues, and raise concerns
  • Develop and foster strong working relationships with artists, producers, programmers and other QA analysts
  • Liaison between developers/production and off-site QA staff
  • Become an oracle of knowledge on quality markers for art assets, art pipelines and on all things related to game performance analysis

Who you are

  • Experienced with game engines, content and asset editors, and shared technologies
  • Possess an understanding of typical rendering pipelines in games/game engines (render passes and performance characteristics)
  • Have knowledge of memory management in games
  • Have knowledge of common content optimization strategies
  • Experience with analyzing and solving problems in complex content graphs
  • Possessing a solid understanding of testing methodologies and test automation
  • Interested in the technical aspects of game development
  • Keen eye for product quality, advocating for best practices in both testing and development
  • You are eager to build a long-term career in QA
  • Proactive, able to work independently and thriving on challenges and problem-solving
  • An excellent communicator in English, both verbally and in writing

Plusses

  • Coding knowledge (C/C++/C#, Python)
  • Scripting knowledge
  • Gray box and white box testing experience
