Be the liaison between the business and the people of a dynamic international game development studio.

In this role you will be supporting your designated group to achieve its strategic objectives in collaboration with the HR Business Partner assigned to your group.

OUR HR TEAM

As HR Generalist, you will be part of a diverse team consisting of: two HR Generalists, three HR Business Partners, one Compensation and Benefits Specialist, two Talent Acquisition Business Partners, a Talent Acquisition Coordinator and a Payroll Consultant. All reporting into the HR & Talent Acquisition Manager.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Act as the first point of contact for your stakeholders for all “routine” questions, providing advice, guidance and coaching to both staff and managers in all aspects of HR and escalate to the HRBP when needed;
  • Provide full cycle administrative support for the studio employee population (employment contracts, employer’s declarations, compensation and reward letters, registration to our different benefits providers, record of sickness management,...)
  • Build effective relationships with staff at all levels as is with external partners (payroll provider, immigration and relocation agency, ARBO services, benefits providers, external auditors)
  • Guide our employees through their onboarding process (set up welcome packs, organize and deliver our new hire introduction, work with our Office team on set up of temporary housing,…)
  • Support our employees and new hires on all aspects of their immigration and relocation
  • Coordinate our payroll with our ADP/Payroll consultant
  • Be proactive in identifying people issues with the HR Business Partner assigned to your group and implement pragmatic and business orientated solutions;
  • Provide first line sickness management support
  • Maintain correct data in Workday (audit and update where needed), collaborate with our global HRIS team
  • Support through the yearly Audit process with our external auditors
  • Work with our Financial Assistant on required Purchase Order (create, receive goods and manage this process)
  • Collaborate with your HR colleagues and contribute to HR projects
  • Keep up to date with legal requirements, providing suggestions for changes.
  • Where necessary, support the HR & TA Manager to align Guerrilla HR practices with those of the parent company Sony by liaising with Central HR and collaborate the rest of the PlayStation Studios.

WHO YOU ARE

You have 1-3 years of relevant HR Operations/Generalist experience with an international Technology / Software company;

  • You are a problem solver, proactive and comfortable in partnering with employees at all levels
  • You are a networker: and able to develop strong relationships with those who have knowledge and make decisions;
  • You have a healthy curiosity and the desire to learn all aspects of the studio and help attaining their goals;
  • You thrive for data excellence and have a keen eye for detail
  • You have a good understanding of Dutch Labour Law
  • You are Fluent in English and Dutch communication, both written as well as verbally;
  • You have an interest in the gaming industry.
  • You have a great sense of humor, you will be spending most of your day with our HR team and while we are very serious about our work, we also like to have fun together.
