We are looking for a skilled, passionate, and creative Technical Artist. We are looking for someone who can provide technical solutions to aesthetic problems and challenges on the Engine level in all sorts of different art areas.

Some of your responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with other artists on maximizing the results of assets and materials in Unreal Engine

  • Work inside of Unreal Engine to help define pipelines and workflows and come up with clever solutions to improve the overall art quality or specific effects while maintaining performance targets

  • Work outside the engine with 3D, material, procedural, or general art tools

Desired qualifications:

  • Solid understanding of lighting, particle systems, post-processes, material setup, and general workflows inside a modern game engine like Unreal or Unity

  • Ability to apply a broad range of skills with Autodesk products (Max, Maya) and Substance to ensure assets translate properly into the game engine

  • Open-minded personality to explore new tools and workflows

  • Great problem-solving abilities coupled with initiative and an ability to work

  • Ability to communicate across all disciplines and teams within the organization

  • Passion for real-time strategy and/or roleplaying games is welcomed

  • Applicants must be authorized to work in Germany/E.U

  • Fluent in written and spoken English

  • A positive team-oriented mindset

  • Proactive, self-motivated, and be able to work without micromanagement
