Location: Miami (Preferred) - Remote

Grilla is revolutionizing the esports experience, giving players and viewers the opportunity to earn money playing and watching the games they love.

As Marketing Director you will design, plan and implement a wide range of marketing initiatives for the Grilla brand, Grilla hosted esports tournaments, and sponsorship activations. You will develop unique programs to engage existing customers and acquire new users to the Grilla platform.

Responsibilities

  • Set marketing goals and objectives in coordination with the executive team and other relevant stakeholders
  • Drive full funnel marketing campaigns including defining corporate narratives, product and brand building, content strategies, creative development, and event promotion
  • Manage vendor and agency relationships across marketing channels
  • Establish narratives and storyline for Grilla’s esports tournaments
  • Work closely with partnership team and community managers to ensure that communications align with marketing initiatives
  • Determine and track KPI’s for the marketing department and report back to internal stakeholders
  • Spot opportunities and trends in the market to drive growth to Grilla
  • Prepare and maintain P&L analysis, forecasting and budgeting for marketing department

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of proven experience and subject matter expertise in marketing, communications, product marketing, content marketing and campaign execution
  • Demonstrable experience in developing efficient strategies and business plans for various marketing disciplines (branding, product promotion, SEO/paid search, email marketing, sponsorships, etc.)
  • Ability to manage complex marketing channels / campaigns with multiple partners
  • Ability to develop and understand how to target and message important audiences across traditional and emerging media channels
  • Solid understanding of market research and data analysis methods
  • Outstanding communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal abilities
  • BS/BA in business administration, marketing, communications or relevant field
