About the role:

The Operations Coordinator will be a key member of the Grilla team by providing high quality, end-to-end support to the esports operations of the company. The ideal candidate will be an expert multitasker with a deep understanding of multiple game title ecosystems.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate weekly tournament events helping formulate tournament formats, rule sets, and talent sourcing for event production.
  • Assist with team outreach, scheduling, and maintaining rule compliance for all events.
  • Be the liaison for Grilla between contractors, players, content creators, organizations, and affiliated partners ensuring satisfaction for all parties when needed.
  • Assist with planning, research, and creation of material assets needed to execute Grilla events.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for Grilla, handling player relations and resolving any discrepancies as it relates to competition.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of competitive gaming ecosystems as it pertains to leagues, game titles, competitive structures, teams, and major events.
  • Create post event analysis reports used to improve user and fan experience.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in leading competitive tournament operations
  • Proven ability to network with leaders, partners, and influencers in the competitive gaming industry
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • High School Diploma
  • Proficient in:
    • Microsoft Office suite: including but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint
    • Google Slides, Google Documents, and Google Sheets
